Ariel: xoxo

Tis the season for chocolates, flowers, and love! Valentine's Day is just around the corner and now is the perfect time to sign up for a really fun and creative shoot.  I shot Ariel last weekend and I was excited because she gave me the opportunity to have my first photo session in Orange County... Isn't she beautiful? :)

Disneyworld!

For those of you who don't know me... I am the biggest Disney lover ever! For Christmas my mom surprised us with tickets to Disneyworld and Universal Studios. The trip was really fun, but at the same time exhausting. If you want a great work out just walk around theme parks all day.  We could barely take our shoes off when we got back to our hotel because we were so worn out.  Being the Harry Potter nerds that we are we went to Universal Studios just so we could visit Harry Potter Land.  We waited almost 2 hours just to get into the land and once you get inside everything was a big line... The stores, rides, souvenir carts, it was crazy! However, it was worth it because they made everything so perfect. The castle had talking portraits, holograms, and even a virtual ride that took you on summarized journey of the HP series.
However, the best part of the entire vacation was on the first day when we arrived in Florida. I knew the grand prize winner was going to be announced for the Pinhole Exposure Contest, but I had no idea who would win because there were so many talented photographers at the workshop. When our flight landed I received an email from Pinhole saying--When you receive this email call this number. I pretty much ran off the plane so I could call them and when they told me that I won I was dancing in the airport looking like a crazy person. This spring I get to fly to Hawaii and be apart of a Maui Jim catalog shoot and I am SO EXCITED. I can't thank you all enough for helping me be apart of this contest and for those of you voted in the first section... thank you, thank you, thank you! My internship with Robert Evans starts in less than two weeks and it's crazy to see how much my photography has taken off since the end of summer... I'm so excited to see what 2011 has in store :)
