A Lasting Love

    I truly believe that the greatest love story is always your own.  No relationship should be similar to what we see on TV or what we read about in novels. It should be unique, fun, passionate, and incomparable to anyone else.  I want to give you a glimpse into my love story and give you a little more insight into one of my greatest blessings.  I've been dating my boyfriend since I was fourteen years old and we met during orientation of high school.  We became best friends throughout Freshmen year and we became an "official" couple during the summer leading into our Sophomore year.  I knew Trent was going to be the perfect boyfriend because he had every quality I dreamed about when I was little. He's godly, smart, driven, compassionate, handsome, and romantic. We've been dating for five years now and he is practically a Rowand now because he is adored by my whole family.  He is even going to be in my brothers wedding as the "Best Man" next May! We have changed so much since Freshmen year of high school, but it's been fun experiencing the changes together and we still hold onto old traditions that keep our relationship fresh and exciting! We are over the top with every holiday, birthday, anniversary, and anything worth celebrating. We are cheesy and spontaneous, but I think that is what has kept our relationship so strong all throughout high school and college.  We enjoy simplicity and emphasize the importance of making the other feel appreciated. Trent challenges me to be a better person, confronts me when I'm wrong, and puts up with my nonsense, which has made me really love and respect him!  I'm so thankful that God blessed me with someone like Trent, because he goes above and beyond when it comes to making me feel loved and admired!  I know our lives can be hectic, but don't forget to tell those important to you that you love them and make time to do something out of the ordinary today to make them feel special! hidden because he's too stubborn to tell me the answer!)
